Men de så kallade komiska tillfällena var så förbannat krystade att klockorna stannade. Det är tragiskt att se svenskars menlösa försök till att vara lite "elaka" mot kändisar och kollegor på sådana här galor. Det är så snällt och uddlöst.
Annat var det när den brittiske komikern Ricky Gervais var värd för Golden Globe Awards i USA härom natten. Jag såg det inte, men höll på att ramla ur soffan av ett 10-minutersklipp där någon vänlig själ klippt samman de bästa stunderna under Gervais fantastiska värdskap. Karln är ett geni! Under kvällen lyckas han förolämpa stora delar av Hollywoods skådiselit utan någon slags rädsla. "I'm not going to do this again, anyway", säger han och brister ut i sitt karatäristiska leende.
